PCS-KFS-UCP Reconciliation Process

The PCS-KFS-UCP Dashboard allows C&G Compliance to complete timely reconciliations of PCS data to UCPath. In addition to displaying basic information about each Federal award, the PCS-KFS-UCP Dashboard displays PCS due dates, PCS reporting periods, PCS report completion status, PCS Salary, KFS Salary from the KFS Labor Ledger, and UCPath Salary. This reporting tool was developed using Tableau, allows users to drilldown to view details, and highlights discrepancies in the salary data if they occur.

PCS-KFS-UCP reconciliation reports are accessed and reviewed by the Central Payroll Certification Administrator no less often than quarterly – monthly if workload permits – and they are exported to Excel allowing for further data analysis and retention for third-party review. When discrepancies are noticed, payroll data is analyzed further, and corrective actions are identified and implemented. System issues are promptly reported to the Office of Information Technology (OIT).
