Reporting Time for an Extended Leave of Absence

Employees who are reporting FMLA/CFRA/PDLL/PFCB must have a fully approved Extended Leave on the employee’s UCPath Absence Management record covering the period of any extended leave timesheet entries in TRS.

For Bi-Weekly, Hourly, Non-Exempt Employees

Any extended leave timesheet entries that do not have an active, approved Absence Management record in UCPath covering the timeframe of any timesheet entries, will error out during UCPath processing when the timesheet is submitted.  The following message: “FMLA Hours do not have a matching Extended Absence Request”  will result and error notification will be forwarded to the appropriate DTA handling the employee.
