Time Reporting System (TRS) Support & Training

The Time Reporting System (TRS) is the primary timekeeping system for UC Irvine employees.

Functional administration of TRS is provided by the TRS Support Desk in the Central Payroll Office, a division of the Accounting and Fiscal Services department; Technical administration of TRS is provided by the Human Resources IT (HR IT) Team in the Office of Information Technology.

While the primary focus of the TRS Support Desk is troubleshooting TRS functional system issues and escalating unresolved incidents to the HR IT Team as needed, the TRS Support Desk is also responsible for creating, updating, and/or delivering TRS-related instructional materials and administering TRS DTA access.

TRS DTA Training

To ensure DTAs have an appropriate baseline understanding of TRS and the responsibilities of their role, reviewing the DTA Handbook is required before DTA access will be granted via KSAMS.

NOTE: The TRS Support Desk is currently providing individual 2-hour sessions to satisfy the training requirement for SAMS DTA access approval.
