New Director of General Accounting

Dear colleagues,

Accounting and Fiscal Services is pleased to announce the recruitment of Evajoy “EJ” Tito as our new Director of General Accounting. EJ started this week and will be responsible for leading a team of professionals who perform essential central office tasks including preparation of campus financial data for inclusion in financial statements, management of the chart of accounts, general ledger maintenance, and more. She will also be responsible for coordinating the campus fiscal year-end close process.

EJ has almost 20 years of experience in accounting and higher education. Most recently, EJ was Interim Director, Systemwide Financial Standards & Reporting for the California State University Office of the Chancellor. Prior to that, she worked at Cal State Fullerton in several leadership roles. She started her career as an auditor, working at both KPMG and Deloitte.
