Open Forums: Learn the Latest News and Talk to Central Office Experts

What are the Open Forums?

Icon of people asking questionsAccounting and Fiscal Services regularly schedules Open Forums for the UCI financial community. The event is an opportunity to learn more about upcoming changes to the Kuali Financial system and other accounting tools and processes. It's also a great opportunity to meet with central office staff members and colleagues from across campus. The Open Forums are routinely attended by hundreds of UCI people.

During Fiscal Year-End Close, the Accounting Department holds special workshop forums to discuss important deadlines and closing steps. Accounting's sub-units also occassionally host special forums focused on special areas of interest like travel accounting.

What Kinds of Topics are Discussed?

How to Attend

Each Open Forum is announced in advance to the AFS-Update Mailing List. If you're not already signed up to receive our email annoucnements, simply follow the preceding link, type your email address into the first box and click the subscribe button. All the other boxes are optional.

We typically offer two sessions – one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Both sessions cover the same information. Regardless of which session you choose to attend, we recommend arriving early to ensure a seat.
