DTA Actions for CX Bi-Weekly Employees Effective 11/27/2022

As part of the recent contract ratification for Clerical and Allied Services (CX), new overtime regulations were implemented: overtime will be paid at 1.5 times their regular hourly rate after 8 hours of work in one day and at 2 times their regular hourly rate after 12 hours of work. This new agreement became effective on 11/27/2022.

To prepare our Time Reporting System (TRS), default schedules were updated for all active CX employees who did not currently have a different work schedule documented to reflect a M­–F 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (5/40) schedule.

Department Time Administrator (DTA) Actions  

Please review all CX employee schedules in TRS for accuracy. If the employee should reflect an alternate work schedule with more than 8 hours a day (i.e.: 4/10, 9/80 or any other schedule with more than 8 hours of regular work per day), please ensure to end the default created work schedule and enter the appropriate work schedule for that employee.
