This is a reminder that the Kuali Financial System will be updated with a major enhancement to its backend workflow engine and some minor user interface changes on Saturday, Nov. 20. Check out the Accounting Office website for information about how the KFS update will impact you.
Important Information for Next Week
While we don't expect this update to significantly impact campus business operations, you should keep in mind the following to ensure the best user experience next week:
- Clear your cache and cookies: Users should plan to clear their browser's cookies and cache after the update. This is recommended because The web addresses for all KFS e-docs and Action List links will change after the backend workflow engine upgrade is complete.
- Links in older Action List emails will stop working: Links in Action List reminder emails you received prior to the update will stop working after Nov. 20. Links in reminder emails sent after the update will work correctly. Users can access KFS and their Action List from ZotPortal if they have trouble opening an email link.
