- General and Administrative (G&A) Assessment
- Sales and Service Activities

More information about these topics can now be found in the new Financial Cost Analysis section of the Accounting website. If you have any questions about these areas, please contact Maria Gorginova, Cost Accounting Manager.
Policy Updates: Recharge and Sales & Service Activities
Financial managers should also be aware that UCI recently replaced two guidelines with policies related recharges and sales & service activities. If you are responsible for the management of these types of activities, it’s recommended that you review the policies below:
- Sec. 701-22: Recharge Facility and Activity Review and Approval Interim Policy
This policy outlines the process and requirements for establishing and approving official recharge activities, and for annual review and approval of rates that official recharge facilities charge. It supersedes Sec. 703-13: Recharge Accounts and Rate Review Procedures.
- Sec. 701-23: Sales and Service Activities Interim Policy
This policy specifies the requirements and the procedures for requesting, reviewing, and approving sales & services activities between the UCI campus and a non-university entity. It supersedes Sec. 703-14: Sales and Services Income Guidelines.
Both policies are being implemented on an interim basis. You are invited to submit comments about both documents until Dec. 16, 2020, by email to email@example.com.
