New Class This Summer: KFS Advanced Cognos

Sent to the AFS-Update Mailing List on July 11, 2019

Cognos is a powerful tool for analyzing and visualizing financial data, but learning how to develop your own custom financial reports can be challenging. Accounting & Fiscal Services is now offering a new class that helps users overcome this steep learning curve by walking them through the fundamentals of building reports in Cognos with a special focus on how to best tap into UCI’s financial data structure.

Led by a KFS financial reporting expert, the KFS Advanced Cognos training is tailored to address the needs of campus fiscal officers and department administrators who prepare financial reports. Two sessions will be offered:

  • July 23 (Tuesday)
    KFS Advanced Cognos Training
    10 – 11:30 a.m.
Room 1020, Anteater Instruction and Research Building
  • Aug. 13 (Tuesday)
    KFS Advanced Cognos Training
    10 – 11:30 a.m.
