Updated Credit and Debit Card Guidance

The Financial Services team recently updated UCI 700-40: Policy on Credit and Debit Card Acceptance and Security. The policy was rewritten to provide campus merchants with clearer guidance about their role in maintaining compliance with laws, university policies, and Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards and to clarify campus responsibilities in the area. This policy applies to all credit card processing at UCI. If your unit accepts payment by credit or debit card, you should review the updated policy on the Policies and Procedures website.
