Checking the Status of a Payroll Certification

To check the status of a PCS Report, go to the Payroll Certification Tracking Lookup link in the KFS Lookups and Requests Portlet. Click here to see location of the link on ZotPortal.

  • Search for the Fund Number for the PCS Report.
  • In the results, look for the PC Status column.

the PC Status column should say COMP if the report is approved and completed

In the PC Status column, you will see a code. There are multiple statuses that could be reported here or it might be blank. Check the table below for more information about code meaning.

Enroute to CPCA for review and approval

PCS document has been disapproved

DPCA

PCS document enroute to DPCA for review/approval

DUE

PCS report is now due

EORG

PCS document ad hoc routed to a another department for review and approval

EPI

Enroute to PI for PCS certification and document approval

INIT

A PCS document has been initialized from the Preview Screen

LGCY

PCS report has been completed in legacy PCS

NPAY

PCS report certified with no salaries charged

OVDU

PCS report is outstanding after the due date

RSET

PCS document has been reset by CPCA
